Dr. Carrie Ginieczki
DVM, MS, DACVIM (Cardiology) • Founder
After more than two decades in veterinary cardiology, I founded HeartVet to create the kind of practice I always envisioned—one where exceptional medical care meets genuine compassion, and where every pet parent feels heard and supported.
I received my DVM from Texas A&M University and completed my internship, residency, and Master's degree at Purdue University. Throughout my career, I've been dedicated to advancing the field through research in echocardiography and catheter-based techniques.
What drives me isn't just the medicine—it's the relationships. I believe that direct communication between specialist and primary care veterinarian produces the best outcomes for patients.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Ginieczki enjoys equestrian activities, mountain biking, rock climbing, skiing, and yoga in the beautiful Colorado mountains.

Dr. Carolina Vicente
DVM • Cardiology Intern
Dr. Vicente brings international experience and a deep passion for veterinary cardiology to our team. A native of Brazil, she completed her veterinary degree at Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada, followed by a rotating internship at Oregon State University.
Fluent in Portuguese, Dr. Vicente is dedicated to providing compassionate care to patients and clear communication to families. Her own rescue dog, Maebe, was diagnosed with SAM, inspiring her commitment to this specialty.
Lindsay Perlozzo
Client Care Coordinator
Lindsay ensures every family's experience at HeartVet is seamless and stress-free. From scheduling to follow-up, she's your first point of contact and dedicated advocate throughout your pet's cardiac journey.
Alyssa Breed
Veterinary Technician
Alyssa's gentle touch and technical expertise make her invaluable during diagnostic procedures. She has a special gift for keeping anxious patients calm and comfortable throughout their visit.
